So, you want to fly drones?

Getting your first drone.

Its perhaps not the best plan to rush out and spend a grand or more on your first aircraft. Many flyers will crash at least once, or even lose a drone because they havent learned how to control it properly. You do need plenty practice with them.

In effect, if you can't afford to lose it or damage it, it shouldn’t be your first aircraft. Buy something reasonably priced while you learn to fly. You can upgrade later. Try to stay under 250g weight for your first, as it does give you more freedom on where and when you can fly.

For your first aircraft, I would suggest Amazon as they have a very a good stock of drones that suit all budgets and abilities, including DJI drones that are amongst the best you can get. They also have a very good delivery network.

I havent flight tested any of them other than the DJI Mini 3 Pro, which is excellent.
